The Cannabis Defense Coalition believes in thorough and open financial accounting. It is our intent to not only run a tight financial ship, but to publicly disperse (non-personal) information and analysis about our finances. This page is the main gateway to information about our dollars and sense.
The CDC is effectively "fund based." We have a single "general fund," in which we place membership dues and general donations. Most projects we run get their own (on-paper) "account," and we attempt to fundraise for that project separate from other projects. The board may vote to transfer general fund monies to a specific project. If a CDC project can be funded, it will most likely happen. If it can not be funded, it will not happen.

Membership and general fund
Fourteen members have paid their membership dues for 2009. As of March 25, 2009, the general fund balance is $986.61.
